we have covered gutters and no standing water. we found they live in ivy (which is everywhere in my neighborhood), leafy trees, leafy plants, and under the deck. After 5 years of around the clock tiger mosquitos (and we would get bit just walking from our car in the driveway to our front door), we called mosquito squad. we noticed the difference immediately. but, here's the limitation. we were outside on our deck for an afternoon. the tiger mosquitos next door finally found us at the three hour mark. they are nasty relentless and smart buggers. and they usually find cases of west nile (in birds) at our local park every year.
It would be nice if the neighbors and the whole neighborhood didnt slack and all paid for mosquito squad
All the houses on my block, on our side of the street, band together every summer and get a group deal from Mosquito Squad. We get the (slightly more expensive but less harmful) garlic treatment. It makes a HUGE difference in the mosquito population in our immediate area.
