Go read the chronic absenteeism/truancy thread in the mcps forum. Note the linked mcps studies. In short: the shifting demographics over the last 10 years are documented. And the rising absenteeism is likely related to young Latinos who simply aren’t here for an education. They are here to work…and sometimes the work involves criminal activity.

Now take a deep breath and think about the changing demographics and moco or mcps data…connect the dots. [/quote]
