Gyno said bidet attachments are causing my UTI's which turned into kidney infections and she tells all her patience who are prone to UTI's not to use them.
i... maybe don't blast your urethra? does she also tell you not to use a handshower in the shower? i'm not sure what you're doing, but yeah, if using a bidet is somehow causing a uti then don't do that. just like wearing stockings every day used to give me utis. i don't do that anymore. ...but i don't tell other people that they shouldn't wear stockings.
The hand shower analogy is incorrect. PSA: The unique risk with a bidet is that it can blast poo-poo particles 💩 straight into the vulnerable-vag, basically a waterborne back to front wipe scenario, thereby causing a wicked-nasty UTI.
um. the rear wash should only be aimed at the rear, and the water direction should only go back. (my toto allows for multiple users and custom settings for people that are different heights/sizes.) the seats that have a front wash should also be carefully aimed. your seat was poorly installed or not adjusted correctly. under no circumstances should the water that washes your butt end up in your vag. and yeah, if you can't adjust it so that you can use it correctly, then don't use it.
