I had a terrible bout of what presented as ulcerative colitis years ago but seemed to settle after a few years (started with shellfish poisoning) and I tapered off steroids. although I’ve had digestive issues since and have regular colonoscopies I haven’t had it again…But now I have low levels of certain nutrients (zinc ferritin alk phis) which is correlated with poor nutrition or poor gut absorption. Unfortunately my new a GI is dismissive mansplaining jerk and it’s my pcp who flagged these. How was your crohns confirmed? Did you find yourself getting full faster or was it moving through you faster?[/quote]
