[/quote] Yes it’s scary for people who have always viewed you as a fat person to suddenly realize you are becoming “competition” and that’s across all even at work. I ran into this when I had weight loss surgery, lost a lot of weight and suddenly people who were always happy to cheer me on when I lost 5 lbs but then gained it back but when the weight came off for good - wow totally different people started saying I was on the wrong diet, my doctor might no really know what he was talking about, and so on.
