I really really like mule styles because I live in Florida and am so lazy that I don’t want to lean down and do straps every time I put shoes on. So mules are perfect. However, I want them to have sufficient coverage that the top of the mule strap almost comes all the way to my ankle. Because that style does not require any toe clenching. But I’m trying to find replacement pairs for this summer and everything this year has thinner straps - which means toe clenching, argh. [/quote]
