because my child has an IEP and FCPS did not give her any of the required services from her IEP for almost a year. We paid out of pocket which is fine but FCPS offered to reimburse us so I did not turn them down. I intend to donate the money to a organization who helps parents struggling with special needs kids. But I also believe- FCPS will never send me a check. They are so shady and so awful to the special education families.

From my vantage point, FCPS devotes so much time and resources to special education and all people do is complain or sue. They work so hard and spend so much time and money on special ed - what about all the other students in FCPS?[/quote]

It is always easy to tell who has never dealt with FCPS special Ed. They do work really hard at trying to not do what they are supposed to do. They work really hard at making sure they make life as difficult as possible for families.[/quote]
