If I had to pay for my car to be fixed for 40 hours every week at that rate, I would take the bus.

Caregivers should be paid well, yes.  And childcare should be high quality and affordable.

The "pay cut" is your taking a job with less hours, but I think you are suggesting that you get an Itty bitty payout in that everyone's taxes go up to ensure middle class to upper middle class women can "have it all"[/quote]
