And yes societies help other people...schools. police, fire etc[/quote] Your tax dollars support the entirety of society including children through e.g. the support for public schools, the Head Start program, subsidized childcare programs, the list goes on. These are the people who will pay into Social Security and Medicare when you need to take your benefits.[/quote]
