I am not local and I was horrified when I saw the state he was in when he was admitted to the hospital. The nurses very politely let me know that he was not getting the care he needed when he was at home with my mother. It was clear that my mom was not able to care for my dad who had cognitive decline and was a fall risk and that my mom did not have the sense to ask for help. From the hospital I was very clear that he could not be discharged to home.[/quote]
