So are there other alternatives out there?[/quote] No moms groups to offer you, just wanted to say I've felt your pain -- I live just outside of Cap Hill in DC, and of course was declined to join their mom's group, mothers on the hill. At first it seemed ridiculous, but I've found that when groups set boundaries like this, the members/leadership often have set ideas about people in the surrounding areas that you probably wouldn't want to expose your child(ren) to anyway. Good luck finding an inclusive group, I also suggest meetup.com :)[/quote]
