“JUST heard back from DC police who says they were not called until AFTER the vehicle was recovered about 2 miles away in NE. Report indicates car was parked at 7:40 Weds and recovered at 11. DC police reiterate if you’re the victim of a crime to call 911.”

+1. I don't believe the police either. The police lie about stuff like this all the time. They have nothing to lose. Nobody got hurt, nobody got arrested. Nobody is going to investigate this further.[/quote]

No they actually don’t lie about “stuff like this” since they would be easily refuted by a simple call history log. They aren’t going to risk their job by making such an easily provable lie.[/quote]
