Many Africans look down on AA, as do many Hispanics, Asians, etc.  You see how they greet the customer in front of you and then you, and then the one after you.  I haven't spoken a word, and I get attitude.  So what is it?  It's the only think different about me...what am I to infer?  Or when I'm in a store and I'm being followed around?  What would you think?

All of you who summarily dismiss this, why don't you look at what is going on around you?  Since you can't actually walk a mile in my shoes.  I lived in another country for two years and had reverse culture shock dealing with all of the latent and overt racism in this (my) country.  I have always been treated better by strangers in Asia and Europe than here in my own country.[/quote]
