I opened the thread expecting it to be about his health and concerned there might be bad news. The way it's being handled, it may be a stroke. He is known to have high blood pressure, which can lead to stroke. Plus, the very sudden nature of the "crisis" and the fact the family's not giving details (because the time after a sudden stroke can be extremely fraught for family members) point to something like stroke, aneurism or heart attack. One article I saw this week mentioned cryptically that it was "progress" that he was conscious after three weeks--if just being conscious is considered progress, his condition must be serious. I'm not even a huge Jamie Foxx fan but I truly hope he'll survive whatever this is. He may have a very long road of ongoing therapy, though. [/quote]
