All 3 of my kids have learned (at smaller schools) that you go to all lab/recitation/discussion section because if you ever struggle they are more likely to make an exception/give you a way to bring your grade up than a student who never attends most sessions. Most profs/tas want to see students learn and will go above and beyond to help a kid who is making 110% effort[/quote]
