DH definitely appreciates and FiL, before his decline, often told him that "your wife knows how to play your mom like a fiddle." Look, it's now always that way, but I probably have more experience than my MiL does to some extent. Her parents were never in the equivalent of a CCRC when they were alive and her ILs had one arrangement for the duration of their stay. Want to help them be in the best situation they can be as well as what is the best use of their money. It also makes it easier on DH who shoulders the majority of the burden.[/quote]
