Even if I believed your last line, the notion that Willard Romney, a throwback to the fantasy world of the 1950s that never existed except on "Leave It To Beaver", would be a "new day" is absolutely laughable.

That said, the Big Lie has worked before and Romney is a ruthless and utterly unprincipled expert at using it, and I have no doubt that he/they have only just begun to spread the odious stain of falsehood and innuendo to secure victory at any cost.

Romney is as unprepared as Obama was - the notion that business experience equals ability to govern is absurd.  But he can win with the Big Lie, Americans have proven themselves to be pretty gullible and stupid, electorally speaking.[/quote]
