We limit screen time but if we watch one of these, DD can watch for 60-90 minutes instead of my usual 25 minute limit. We watched one on the deep sea recently after a visit to the Monterey Aquarium and it really deepened her interest in sea life and led her to pick up some non-fiction books about the ocean at the library.
