I have toddler twins and it’s very difficult to get a photo of them both looking and smiling but I maximize my odds with live turned on haha.
This. I turn it off for still pics of landmarks for example; but turn it on for most other pictures. Press and Hold on the live pic. How great that you can take any millisecond of that picture and save it as the still picture. It’s Very easy to edit and “ change still shot” before saving and then turn live off. I go thru the pics and can select the perfect shot - right before or after someone licks their lips, blinks, shifts into place etc. or very common for someone to photobomb the pic, which I can easily edit out. And That’s what will upload to social media or Shutterfly for my vacation photo book. We are in Europe on spring break right now. I am able to take quick pics of my 15yo with the promise that she can go thru and choose the “perfect” still of herself. We take pics during the day and edit them in the hotel at nIghy
Finally I understsand why "live" exists!
+1
