We have cash that we planned to use to buy a local rental. Obviously this means no cash flow but we weren’t depending on it. Dad is mid 60s but has already had 2 heart attacks. Grandma lived there until she died and frankly didn’t really need my dad. It’s a fine place to age. [/quote]
