I knew who he was but hadn't seen him in anything until SNL, and tuned in mostly out of curiosity about him. You're right, he came across with great charm and seemed to be enjoying himself immensely, which not all hosts on SNL do. I saw him interviewed on the Graham Norton show and was even more charmed; he held his own in that party atmosphere, if you've ever seen Norton's show. He's not my romantic/hot guy cup of tea personally but I'd absolutely take that man out for a beer and a lot of laughs. And now I've got to see him act in something! [/quote]
