My kid who is doing this is in 9th grade.  I don't know when is most common for people to take health online.  My kid decided to do it this spring because she wanted to preserve summer flexibility for vacations/camp, and she had a sense of her workload from the fall semester that made it seem like it would be manageable to balance the health workload along with regular classes now.  She's not sure when she'll do the second semester of health; it's not yet available online, and she might choose to take it during the regular school year if she can't find another convenient time, but she's glad to be getting one semester out of the way.[/quote]
