OP here. This is us. HHI 300k According to DCUM we won't get aid but we're about the least wealthy people I know at the schools and clearly they think so too because they gave us more aid than we ever thought to ask for.  It's a little sobering.  I didn't think we were that "poor" relative to our parent peers.  I mean, I know we're in the lower brackets but huh-guess we are at charity level.  Kids are academic high performers, athletes and very well liked.  [/quote]

Why is it sobering? Because you think you are the poor people at your school or because your school, despite the rhetoric, doesn’t admit any students who are actually poor?[/quote]
