But you need to be realistic about the details and not just get starry eyed at the idea of buying next to your childhood vacation house. There are already some good questions for you to ask yourself in this thread. Another is how much the rentals in the area are for a week. Chances are it will be way cheaper to just rent the 2-3 weeks a year that you would actually use the house. [/quote]
