An hour to change front brakes and rotors in your driveway? That is assuming you are proficient at that. Would be a lot longer for someone doing this for the first time. Especially if you run into issues such as a seized caliper, rotor rusted onto hub, etc. [/quote]

Someone who doesn't know what they're doing should not be working on their brakes. I don't care how many youtube videos are out there.  The braking system is the absolute LAST thing a noob should be working on.[/quote]

I disagree. Changing front brakes was the first job I ever done on a car. And it was and still is one of the easiest to do and hardest to mess up. [/quote]
