It is win win.[/quote] The amount of water used to wash your hands does not have nearly the environmental impact of going through 1000s of plastic gloves a year. I don't love touching meat either and I try to limit how much I touch it (for example I will try to do everything I need to do with the raw chicken at once instead of going back and forth between other steps), and I don't cook meat every day.
