OP here. I used to live in Virginia (years ago) and getting over the American Legion bridge was horrible. Have things improved? Whenever I’ve had to drive through on 95 (we live in NJ now) it’s really terrible between Baltimore and Richmond.  Like bad enough that we try to plan our stretch through that area either late at night or early in the morning. [/quote]

OP, you are asking about a 2025 team. That’s a high school team and usually practices on weekends. Traffic on weekends is not as bad as 3.30-6pm on weekdays.

Having said that, it also depends on where you live in Virginia. If you are in Arlington/McLean area, it might be just as easy to go into Bethesda area as Sterling/Herndon. If you live west or south of the northeastern tip of VA, you might want to consider one of the VA clubs. [/quote]
