all purchased on the 4th/5th, will last through the 12th/13th so about 10 days. we do our bigger shopping trip in the first of the month for staples (rice, syrup, that's it bars, uncrustables, pam, pecans, salt, shredded cheese, 1/2 eggs for the month, onions, breakfast sausage and bacon buy 2x month).  may have to get some more fresh fruit and milk on Saturday but total= $340 for a family of 3

usually a 300-350 trip for the 1st and 3rd week and then 200-250 for 2nd and 4th week. whatever is left from the 1st and 3rd week or monthly purchases makes the menu for the following weeks. [/quote]
