I more mean that I did write to see if there was anything that we could/needed to do to stay up on the classroom content that happened while we were away, and were told to not worry about it and enjoy the trip (which I appreciated). If that meant fewer unexcused absences, great, though we were prepared for them all to be unexcused. And that’s exactly what they were marked as: unexcused. No issues/concerns from us and no hassle from the school about it at all, was totally fine. Again, this is first grade—I imagine later grades are going to be harder to miss/catch up from.[/quote]
