Not sure if that correlates with college placement or not. But the shifting pedagogy there was parent driven. Over the past couple decades Yorktown has shifted into a more sports oriented culture (not purposefully). The school does place emphasis on the social and emotional well being of its students while still supporting academic rigor. How homework factors into that is still debatable. [/quote]
