It is DC, I have checked the requirements online. I am afraid to create trouble  as I do not plan to leave that daycare. It is the cheapest in the area and it is not that bad otherwise. [/quote]

They probably won’t act based on your report alone, they will do an unannounced inspection and count ratios for themselves. [/quote]

This. It happened at my old daycare and someone reported them (we think a former teacher).  They didn’t get shut down or anything but it shows up in the inspection reports online and they were more careful after that.  Inspections are so rare that some daycares know they can get away playing loose with the rules.[/quote]
