She's over 200lbs and incredibly unhealthy in her lifestyle. Giving up sugar and doing daily walks would be very hard and painful to do for her. Not everyone is already making healthy choices and caring for the body that God gave us so for someone like her this would be a tremendously sacrificial Lenten commitment.
