I’m surprised at the number of people who thrift. We bought at Old Navy, Gap on sale, Nordstrom Rack (or Nordstrom at the anniversary sale) sometimes outlets and handed down to younger kids. I’m sure we spent $1000/year.
I’m the first PP. I live 10-12 mins from the Unique/Valu Village store. It’s huge.
How old are your kids? The closest Value Village to me is not as convenient so I don't go as often, but I feel like once DS reached a certain size the options there plummeted, and was overpriced for the condition. Was good for baby stuff but I got a lot of hand me downs and gifts for that stage. Maybe the inventory is location dependent though.
10 but she’s in a size 14-16. About to be aging out of kid sizes.I have found good athletic clothes for her in the small women’s section so far though.
same pp. I also only go on a Mon or Thurs when it’s 25% off.
