Part of the issue with DCPS not being able to announce locations way in advance is that they DO actually consult with the school community. SWS was slated to be moved to the site that CHML used during its modernization (about 2 miles up N Cap) and the community revolted (understandably as CHML decimated its ECE during the reno because no one wanted to put their 3 year old on a non-seatbelt-having bus for 2 hours/day; literally blew through its 300 kid waitlist) and they ended up w/ trailers near Browne instead. So DCPS might have a plan for the Tyler reno, but it's 100% not set in stone yet.[/quote]
