Your son has nothing to do with official duty and allowing his contractor do his bidding, violates that. Impartiality can be real or perceived, it does not matter. His contractor might think "he owes me a favor" or your DH might think "I owe him a favor"... Even if they don't, it doesn't matter because perception is that they both do. [/quote]
