I don’t understand what is funny. I know at least a dozen families who employee people with pretty much exactly those duties. 3/4 hours while the kids are in school for them to clean/organize/meal prep/housekeeper stuff and then pick up and standard nanny stuff in the afternoon/evening. Most of the nannies/housekeepers I know also do the family’s shopping, return things, go to the post office etc. I am a SHAM and have made friends with some of these women when my kids were babies and they Nannie’s full time. Once the kids go to school, they become part house keepers, because the families want to keep them around. They also provide back up child care for teacher work days.
+1 We have friends who wanted to keep their nanny once the kids all started school, and so they basically transitioned her to a position like this, to help with kid logistics and days off school, and then she did housekeeper-type duties during the day. She worked for them for like 20 years, until all the youngest kid started HS, so presumably she was happy with the pay and duties.
