Because they don't want to be cancelled and person is the term that they are expected to use. Even if they don't believe it.  They don't want to accidentally  say girl or woman to you because they might slip up and use that word o their peers.[/quote]

Are you a generation z?  This is what my gen z told me.  Do you honestly believe that older generations did not believe girls/women are people?  I can assure you that we do.  But, the only people who can get pregnant are women. Sorry you were out of class that day when they expalined how the world works.  You  can think of yourself as anything you want but, biology matters.

My question to you is why are you afraid of the word girl/women?  If I said "that woman is pregnant" how does that bother you?  Do you not believe that women/girls exsist?  Something is wrong when someone says something factually accurate and be cancelled.
