You would save a ton of money on new clothes and alterations. This dress is a really, really easy pattern too. I would buy the fabric--you get great selection at any fabric store. You should look through the pattern books and purchase a pattern when on sale (a few bucks). Ask the fabric store if they know anyone who would sew it for you--they may offer to do it too for a reasonable price. Summer stuff is very easy to sew. [/quote]
