Not a fan of 2022 Elon but want a good deal.

Which other EVs would you recommend?  We can figure out alternatives to the road trip part but storage space is def. a concern.  Not looking for another minivan however..[/quote]

My husband bought an S, a number of years ago when they were hard to come by and he paid about 120k. The car was good for the first couple years, but would have a reoccurring problem that they just never fixed properly. It was a lemon. The customer service at the dealership was lousy and not what you would expect for that price point. He finally sold it and bought one of the new, cheap models and really likes it. Something with the warranty and selling it back made him buy a Tesla again. I know someone else who had a lemon of an older Tesla. You will save on gas but you will still need to stop to recharge after  about 4 hours if I remember correctly. Anyway, I’m not a fan of Elon or the crappy customer service offered for a luxury vehicle. I think a lot of people are excited by the electric Volvo SUV. But I can’t vouch for it. GL.[/quote]
