+1  I tell my 14 yr old DD, "A man is not a plan". Having stated that, I tell her to marry someone who is smart and not afraid to work hard, and of course, one who is kind to her, like her father is to me.

He wasn't "wealthy" by dcum definition, but he was doing well. He was 36 when we started dating. I was also in my 30s.[/quote]
