Agree with all of this. We just spent an alarming amount of $$ on a separate WC, and it was worth every penny.

Also endorse separate walk in closets with space for built in dressers and shelving. So nice to not have dressers cluttering up the bedroom.

We have an alcove that is set up with a desk and we rarely use it. The office downstairs gets much more use. We also rarely use the sitting area (although the dog likes to sleep on the love seat). [/quote]
