OP, you need to get off dating sites and start engaging in activities YOU actually value and enjoy and meet people that way. Shared interests and values will overcome your height issue. Which, by the way, is an issue in your own mind only, as far as you know, because no one has told you it's the problem,  have they?

Dating sites are shallow and based on looks first and foremost. And OP, you yourself are being -- I"m saying this to help you, not to slam you --  hypocritical. You don't want your appearance (height) to be all that women notice about you, yet you mention "attraction" (code: looks though you're OK with "not a model"...!) as your criterion. It is in fact the ONLY thing you mention, just "attraction." Don't be shallow and you wont' attract shallow people. Do things that you really care about -- a sport, a volunteer gig, participate in whatever arts you like, etc. etc. Do it for its own sake and meet someone who shares that interest. Guess what? Interesting people become...more attractive, and not just in their not-quite-a-model looks. [/quote]
