Please stop. You are right that these studies have nothing to do with continued virtual learning as a choice for parents and students, but they don't necessarily demonstrate that in-person is worse for all students. Different students have different needs. [/quote]

You need to stop.  No one is forcing you to choose VA.  It is a choice program and just because you don't want it, doesn't mean the rest of us shouldn't have the option to choose it for our kids.

These studies have nothing to do with the VA and if kids are struggling, it is not because of virtual learning as they've been back in person a year and a half.  It is not a justification to shut down virtual academy when some kids learn better and there are continued health and safety issues for some families due to the lack of precautions in MCPS schools.[/quote]

No one said anything about shutting down VA. Read what I said. VA is a choice; now in-person is a choice. You don't need to continually disparage in-person learning or those for home the forced, hastily assembled virtual learning while school buildings were closed didn't work.
