Yes, part of it are, but their quality of life is still better than that of poor people in Appalachia. Salaries are lower and more people live in apartments/condos, even in wealthy areas, but their quality of life is still superior to a middle class American in a large SFH. They can take the afternoon off to spend at the lake, they travel for weeks at a time, and their healthcare is affordable. They are not constant stressed about who will take care of their sick children because they have no PTO. [/quote]
