You do not know that.

What we do know:

SROs are a deterant, and all the kids in MCPS know the SROs were defunded/removed from schools.

This kid felt so free to run wild that he invited his friends to watch and live-stream him shooting another human being, knowing the SROs had been banned from the building by MCPS.[/quote]

Nothing that you wrote is established fact.

Point me to a study that shows SROs are an effective deterrent?  
Prove that all students are aware that there are no SROs?
And you obviously can't prove what the kid knew or felt or whether his behavior was influenced by there not being an SRO.

Circumstantial evidence, however, indicates it would have made no difference.  This kid was not at all concerned with getting caught, which is all an SRO would do- make the arrest [i]after the fact[/i] happen slightly quicker.  [/quote]
