Point me to a study that shows SROs are an effective deterrent? Prove that all students are aware that there are no SROs? And you obviously can't prove what the kid knew or felt or whether his behavior was influenced by there not being an SRO. Circumstantial evidence, however, indicates it would have made no difference. This kid was not at all concerned with getting caught, which is all an SRO would do- make the arrest [i]after the fact[/i] happen slightly quicker. [/quote]
