It won’t have a longer life than a less expensive sneaker, no matter how “well made” it is. At least with a leather boot or leather heel if you spend $500 for something high quality, you can polish them over and over to keep the leather in great condition and resole them over and over. Great boots or heels with proper care can last a decade. A sneaker you can’t polish or resole and are wearing regularly will have a relatively short life[/quote]
