I was thinking Jaleo with friends (I have been invited to a "ladies" brunch and  begged off because I knew I had NOTHING to wear and no time to sort it out in time). My other thought was going out with DH (Jaleo's, Redwood , whatever). I usually wear flats to work, standard cardigans and slacks. Nothing exciting but wanted a more grown up look without looking like I was trying too hard.[/quote]

OK -- for the ladies brunch: nice bootcut jeans with a pretty David Cline tee: 3/4 sleeves, v-neck in a nice, soft cotton that's not too thin, a snakeskin print with pale green, lavender and grey, silver hoops, grey wedges (I need the added height) and 3 silver bangles, a metallic tote

for brunch with DH: white ruched skirt with side zip, another David Cline tee with a charcoal and white giraffe print, silver hoops dangly turquoise earrings, grey wedges, same tote

And, BTW, we always love the food at Jaleo and are always underwhelmed by Redwood.  Have fun @ brunch, OP!  [/quote]
