They were the first one to come out with wireless CarPlay.[/quote] Genesis still doesn’t offer wireless CarPlay. And Volvo only added non-wireless CarPlay through an OTA update in July. Meanwhile BMW has offered wireless CarPlay since 2017 and has added Android Auto and Alexa to iDrive 7 and 8. You will see manufacturers moving to subscription models to unlock pre-installed features thanks to the visionary capitalism of Elon Musk. In fairness, however, manufacturers are now rolling out OTA software updates for newer models on a regular basis. This is not an inexpensive endeavor. [/quote]
