[/quote] Not true. Something similar just happened to my daughter. She was not at fault. she hit a pickup truck with a smaller car and her car was totaled (pickup only had door damage). The cost to repair was $14,000 and the value was around $14,000 so they totaled her car. She did everything through her insurance company (they have copy of police report showing she was not at fault), and got her check, including her towing bill reimbursed within a week. Now they will try to get their money from the other driver's insurance company because the other lady was at fault. [/quote]
