My thoughts are let go of 90s diet BS and eat the entire egg.
An egg alone doesn’t have much protein. Best to take an egg and add a bunch of egg whites.
Then eat more than one egg. Duh.
Silly comment. Each egg has about ~3 grams of protein. You don’t want to eat 7-10 eggs with yolks. So you (wait for it) use egg white in addition to 1-2 eggs.
No, an egg has 6 grams of protein. All the protein is on the whites. A box of whites is extremely cost effective. Dozen eggs is $4-6. For best taste, use 1 whole egg and a few table spoons of carton whites.
Agree that is way more cost effective to buy egg whites in a carton if you can get them in bulk at Costco. I buy a pack of 6 for about $9-10. It has the equivalent of 6 dozen egg whites. Since I use them so much and the carton ones are so versatile (you can use the raw in a smoothie or for icing, add to oatmeal, etc.), it just makes more sense than paying $5 for a dozen eggs and separating. Plus you can only do so much with extra egg yolk. I usually end up wasting them
